April 26: Affirmations

Please watch this short, 8-minute video, for a deeper understanding of the importance of affirmations:

Any time we say the words, “I AM,” we are in the process of creation.  We are literally commanding our  mind and body into a destiny.

Daily mantras and affirmations help to re-wire our brain to think, be, and react in a more positive manner.  In this way, they can be very helpful.

One of the most effective, proven affirmations is:

EVERY DAY, AND IN EVERY WAY, I AM GETTING BETTER AND BETTER.

WE are literally in control of the repetitious, systematic reprogramming of our minds.  We are 100% responsible for the life that we choose to affirm, manifest, create, attract, and project into reality.

AFFIRMATIONS ARE MEANT

TO LEAD US TO ACTION!

But what if we are having a horrible day?  Have you ever had one of those days where everything goes wrong, and you turn to autopilot to take over? All the mantras and affirmations in the world won’t solve those problems.  Now, it is time for action.

When we marry action to the mantras and affirmations, and do it daily, they naturally become more powerful.  They become AUTOMATED.  The new ways take over, and new results replace the old ones.

Our SELF IMAGE determines what we believe we deserve in life, and by up leveling our self image, we raise our vibrational standards, thereby creating, attracting, manifesting, and projecting an upgraded version of our personal reality.  The book, Psycho-Cybernetics, by Maxwell Maltz, describes in detail how to effectively do this.

Let’s say you want to be stronger mentally and physically and so you tell yourself, “I am stronger and stronger, each day, mentally and physically,” and then you go lay on the couch all day and eat chocolates and watch TV?  As great as this sounds, we all know what will happen if this is repeated, daily.

For us to become a better version of our human self, we can choose to decide what we want that to be, and work towards it every day in some small, easy, consistent way.  Over time it will happen.  The more intensely we focus on it and work towards it, the more quickly we will make it happen.

THE BETTER WE FEEL THROUGHOUT THIS PROCESS, the quicker the process unfolds, and the faster we manifest our new personal reality.  Our feelings are emitted and transmitted out into the Universe, and that which we emit outward, is amplified, and then is attracted back to us, and through us, perpetuating all that we create through FEELINGS.  Our FEELINGS are the secret.

All things come THROUGH us, not TO us.

The book and recording, YOUR WISH IS YOUR COMMAND, by Kevin Trudeau, describes in detail why it is so important to FEEL GOOD ALL THE TIME, as it is through the way we FEEL by which we attract similar vibrational frequencies, and if we only feel GOOD, we only ATTRACT good.  Here is a copy of a link to that recording:

Neville Goddard taught this decades ago, and those who are aware of his secret awaken to create great things for themselves and those they love.

Today I will research affirmations and pick my favorite three.  I will use them DAILY, THROUGHOUT each day, and observe the usefulness of them throughout the NEXT YEAR.

I will remember that it is through repetition that neurons congregate and combine within my physical brain to empower me to MASTER that which I want to create.

I will project myself into my own future, the exact one that I DO want for myself, visualize that which these affirmations have made me in a year’s time, and I will remember who I am.

April 25: The Seven A’s:

What is your dream?  What is your vision of yourself and your life in a year?  Can you see it in your mind?  What is it for 10 years from now?

Aim high.  Know what you want and go for it!  There are no limits.  Even if you aim for the moon and fail to get there, the work you will have done will land you among the stars.

Acquire the mindset and the skills needed to do the daily, consistent steps, that will help you accomplish your vision and dream, and create the reality you want and deserve.

Attain the level of self-control, self-mastery, and the self-confidence you will need on your journey.  CONSISTENCY CREATES CONFIDENCE.

Achieve what you deserve to achieve by working hard towards your vision.  If we won’t do the work, we don’t deserve the reward.  “To be or not to be” is not the question.  “To DO or NOT TO DO” is the question.  As humans, without DOING anything, we will never accomplish or achieve anything.

Accomplish everything you set out to accomplish.  It starts small.  It starts daily.  By continuously and consistently doing all of the small, seemingly insignificant, seemingly meaningless things on your daily list, everything will add up to equal what we want it to!  ALL of our dreams can and will come true if we stick to our plans, work hard, react to difficulties and challenges with wisdom and resilience, and keep on keeping on.

Attract exactly what you want into your life.  Anything you want is possible for you.  Manifesting the exact reality you want to experience, through the practice of visualization, is a great way to attract the life you want.  Remember:  THE FEELING is the magnetized energy that emits the vibrational frequency that attracts the same back to us.  Work hard EVERY MOMENT of EVERY DAY to FEEL GOOD.

It is SO IMPORTANT to FEEL GOOD, ALL THE TIME.  When we strategically design our day, and every moment within it to FEEL GOOD, ALL THE TIME, we recreate the “self” and our personal realities in a FAR more efficient and effective way than we do when we are creating from fear, worry, or anxiety and stress.

Align and consistently re-align with your true, divine, and eternal nature.  Through breathing practices, mindfulness, and meditation, alignment with WHAT we are, as we continue to do the work necessary to upgrade the WHO we identify as while in these bodies, is ALWAYS available to us all.  The daily practice of alignment with our TRUE “selves” will result in miracles.

When we are in alignment with our truest nature, we become better creators, easily projecting, manifesting, and attracting our best life possible.

Why it is SO important to FEEL GOOD, ALL OF THE TIME

Today, and always, I will live by the seven A’s:  Aim, Acquire, Attain, Achieve, Accomplish, Attract, and Align.

April 24: The Importance Of Mindset

According to Dr. Peter Diamantis, “The most important resource in your life, the most important tool you will ever have, will be your mindset.”  This is a man who believes that, together, we can all work towards creating a life of success and abundance.  His interviews with Tom Bilyeu on the YouTube show Impact Theory are worth listening to.

I believe in creating abundance for everybody through a systematic, consistent, positive change in mindset.  Changing our mindset puts us all on track for a successful, fulfilling, meaningful life.

When we strategically and systematically create an OVERFLOW OF ABUNDANCE, in EVERY area of our lives, we provide beauty, peace, and enjoyment for ourselves, AND everyone around us.

I believe it is super useful to ask this question at the beginning of each day: What can I do to improve my mindset right now, and upgrade the way I feel because of it?

Today, if I haven’t already, I will make a list of three easy things to do to improve my own mindset in some way on a consistent, daily basis.  I will review these things daily, AND DO THEM.

April 23: Shakespeare

“Our doubts are traitors that make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt.”
-William Shakespeare

Reminder to self:

It is okay to try and fail.

It is even better to try and succeed.

It is never okay NOT to try.

Repetition promises progress.  Keep going.  Keep doing what you are doing.

Today I will do something I have been afraid to do.

TRUE FAILURE IS NOTHING MORE THAN NOT HAVING THE COURAGE TO TRY.

Daily routine?

What is one thing you do every day that sets you up for success the rest of the day?

Bruno Schuyten Morning routine, quick intense workout followed by breathing exercises, brewing my bulletproof coffee then sipping it while reading personal growth book, then shower, my one thing is the morning routine, it has kept me stable and in control when everything was in a storm.  The book that has helped me most was The Slight Edge as it taught me urgency in the now patience for the long term, determination and understanding the impact of compound effects in life.

Set a positive intention as soon as I wake up.

Something like…

’Today, as much as I possibly can, I’m going to be helpful and kind towards others. I’m not going to let anger, laziness and other negative emotions get the better of me. I am going to keep a positive, happy mind throughout the day and try to be of benefit towards others.’

Then just before I sleep, I check over all the positive actions of body, speech and mind I did throughout the day and rejoice. For anything not so positive I did, I try to develop a sense of regret and make the determination not to do that again in the future. Then I set a positive motivation for sleeping…. And the cycle continues. In this way, slowly I get better and better.

I wake up everyday and the first thing I do is pray to GOD, after that I listen to something motivational while doing my workouts, then I take a shower and go to work, on my way though I intentionally use public transportation and I have like 15 min of gratitude and the rest of the way I would be listening to either radios and podcasts or my favorite songs playlist…during work I try to listen to as much informative podcasts as possible but only during the tasks that don’t require much focus, moreover on my way back I listen to impact theory podcast and other podcasts for people I’ve known through impact theory   I’m a project manager, and I’m handling Digital projects only, but I think it’s just the ability to enjoy what I’m hearing while working just like those who enjoy work with music playing in the background!

April 22: Take A Mental Shower

Imagine you have been playing in the mud for hours.  Not just wet dirt, but that thick, juicy mud that really sticks to you and gets in your hair and you have to scrape it off.  Now what?  You have to wash it off, right?  Eventually you will want to go back into the house, wear clean clothes, and sleep in your bed.  You will want to get back to real life and stop playing around in the mud, right?

Time to shower.  Are you going to turn on a tiny, little trickle coming out of the shower head and take hours to wipe away the mud, or are you going to turn the water on full blast and wash it away as quickly as you can?  The choice is yours.  Either way you need to get clean so you can go on with your day.  How you do it is entirely up to you.

It is the same with our minds.  When we have thought a certain way and lived a certain way for years, our minds may have become a little muddy.  Most of us have been at a point in our lives where our minds have really been drug through the mud and we are down right dirty!  It is time for a mental shower.

Now, are you going to turn on that little trickle and maybe some day be clean again, or are you going to turn it on full blast and REALLY get clean?  I have found it is best to turn it on full blast to replace the dirty with the clean.  Sometimes, when it has taken years to become as dirty as we currently are, it is going to take time and effort to get clean again.

Reminder to self:  BOMBARD YOUR BRAIN!

Seek out inspirational, motivational things to read and watch.  Surround yourself with inspirational, motivational people.  Shower your mind with inspiration, goodness, kindness, love, patience, forgiveness, appreciation, healing, empathy, comfort, abundance, peace, and acceptance, and give your self the gift of a clean mind.  Change your mentality from muddy to pristine.  It will be easier to sleep and get back to real life and stop playing around.  When you do play around again it will be a totally different, higher quality and type of play.

Today’s challenge for myself:  Today I will take a mental shower.  At the end of the day I will ask myself:  “Did taking this mental shower today change me for the better in any way? How do I FEEL?  What if I took a mental shower daily, for the next year? “

April 21: Focus On The Solution

According to one of the most brilliant minds in the world, Dr. Peter Diamantis, we should focus on the solutions instead of the problems.  He says that if we all focus on solutions and finding and creating ways to solve problems, the problems will soon disappear, giving us much more time to create a more beautiful, safe, and prosperous world, and enjoy a much more beautiful and fulfilling life.

I agree with him.  It all comes down to what we focus on.  If we turn all of our attention to one thing, in just a short period of time, all of the other things we were focusing on will fall out of our lives or disappear completely.  If we focus on what we DO want, instead of what we DON’T want, the things we DO want will begin to be more prevalent in our lives while the things we don’t want will disappear out of our lives.

This is ALL due to a little piece of machinery installed within the human brain called the Reticular Activating System.  It only allows the mind to see, perceive of, and project more of that which we are focusing on.  We can use this tool to program ourselves for optimization in EVERY area of our lives.

Dr.Joe Dispenza shared a short video in his Ted talk of neurons reaching out to each other to connect during a thought.  A thought thunk once will create a connection of neurons for a few hours or days.  If the thought isn’t repeated, the neurons uncouple and detach, recruited by other neurons which are being used much more consistently in other thoughts.  This is exactly why what we focus on consistently is so important.  The things we no longer give attention to causes the neurons which were once connected to uncouple, as they are recruited to form the pathways for the thoughts we DO choose to give attention to.

WE create, manifest, attract, and project our realities through focus, consistency, repetition, practice, and habits.  We are only victims of circumstance for as long as we choose to be.  Victimhood is an illusion.  The reality is, WE ARE CREATORS, always creating more of what we focus on and give our attention to the most.

Today’s challenge for myself:  Today I will remember to focus on solutions instead of problems.  I will make it a habit to put out a creative energy, instead of a destructive energy, through the practice of focusing on, and thinking about, ONLY what I DO want.

April 20: Teachers

Everyone we come across in our lives has the potential to be a teacher to us.  Some lessons are enjoyable to learn.  Other lessons involve pain, grief, and misery, and may take us many years to learn.  That’s okay!  It’s about the process, not JUST the end result.  EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US WILL ALWAYS BE A WORK IN PROGRESS.

I think it is important to remember that there is a lesson in all things, and that every person in our lives is there to help us learn or remember something.

It is super useful to approach each day with the feelings of gratitude and appreciation-especially towards others and their role in our lives as teachers.

Teachers introduce new things into our minds, and they remind us of things we have already learned.  They are there to inspire and influence us.

Some of the best teachings in my life have come from moments shared with my children, where I thought I was teaching them something, then actually learned more from them than I ever could have taught them.

Relationships are filled with lessons.  So is every-day life.  Look for the lessons.  Be grateful for the teachers.  I have a growing belief that miracles are worked through others who are in our lives.

Today’s challenge for myself:  Today I will thank someone in my life who is a teacher, who has taught me something new, or reminded me of something I already learned.  I will express gratitude and appreciation to anyone who has inspired or influenced me positively in any way.

April 19: Crumbs

We become what we think about.  Each step towards a positive mindset is but a crumb in a supermarket bakery full of resources.  It is our mindset, our beliefs, chosen perspectives, our focus, and our habits, that matters most.  Mindset and how we think of things will shape the future of our lives and of the lives of those around us.  Our mindset will attract to us what we desire, focus upon the most, and what we work towards consistently.

Mindset is learned.  It is taught to children with each word they hear and each action they see.  Most people learn best through example, through watching those they respect, love, and wish to model.  Success leaves clues.  So does failure.  Children learn to mimic either success or failure as if it is the only thing to do.  It is all they know.  Until we KNOW better, we cannot DO better.

As a parent, our mental and emotional well-being is paramount to being an effective parent.  The better off our mindset is, the better off our children will be.  The better we take care of ourselves, the better place we will be in to take even better care of our children.

How can we change or improve our mindset and beliefs?  It has taken us all of these years to make it what it is today.  What is one small thing we can change or add into our daily routine that would change our mindset, attitude, beliefs, and feelings, in an even more positive way?  Every crumb counts.  Something is always better than nothing.

The best way to climb a ladder is one step at a time, rather than trying to jump to the top rung right away.  Climbing an enormous mountain can seem like a daunting, overwhelming task, but putting one foot in front of the other will get us there more quickly than hopelessly looking at the top and standing still.

Today’s challenge for myself:  Today I will make a list of all the resources available to me that can help me better my mindset, the way I think, or what I think about in order to be the best version of myself I can possibly be.  If I haven’t already, I will create a morning routine for myself to jump-start my day and prime the pump of my soul for each day.

April 17: Only 6 Months Left To Live

If you were told today that you had six months left to live, how would you react?  How would you choose to live your remaining 6 months?  What would you do?  Who would you spend your time with?  What would you focus on?  Where would you go?  Which things on your bucket list would you make it a priority to complete?

What if you found out you had only one day left to live?  Who would you spend that day with?  What thoughts would you think?  What words would you speak?  What actions would you choose to take?

Every day we wake up and walk out the door, it very well could be the last day we live.  Can you imagine putting all of your energy and power and love into each moment of each day, one day at a time, as though it were your very last day here on this earth?  How would your priorities change?  What are some activities you would add to your day if it were going to be your last, to make it the best, most productive, enjoyable, incredible day you possibly could?  How would your mood and demeanor be while saying goodbye to your loved ones, each time you walked out the door to go do something?

We can choose to treat each day as if it could be our last.

We can remember to express to our people that we love and appreciate them.  We can choose to be careful how we react in EVERY situation, and realize our loved ones will remember our last day, and their last moments with us, with clarity, over and over again in their minds.

Reminder to self:

What is the last memory you wish others to have of you and how you made them feel?  Each day is a gift.  Remember this and treat it as such.  Live each moment to the fullest, with as much joy, love, kindness, acceptance, appreciation, gratitude, positivity, forgiveness, and good energy, as you possibly can.  Even if you fall short of your own desires and targets, you will know you put your all into it at the end of each day, and surely you will have no regrets.

Go to bed each day physically and mentally exhausted, having thought, said, and done EVERYTHING that day as if it were your last.  Make your life beautiful, meaningful, purpose-filled, and amazing.  Make it the way you and those around you deserve it to be.

Design your day before you expand into it.

We can choose to continuously be purposefully engaged in creating the most beautiful day we possibly can, each and every day.  Or, we can choose to live life by default, and simply react to what the day brings, being tossed about on the stormy seas of life as though we are a small and helpless ship.

WHAT IS THE LEGACY YOU ARE WORKING TOWARDS LEAVING BEHIND?

Today I will live this day as though it were my last day on earth in this human experience, and make every moment count.
