April 6: The Power of Gratitude

I believe that one of the most important things in our lives that we can choose to do to improve our lives and upgrade the level of enjoyment within it is to practice gratitude.  It will not just improve our life, but the lives of those around us.  It happens instantly and it happens all day long.  This is how and why:  A GRATEFUL HEART IS A MAGNET FOR MIRACLES.

By focusing on what we are grateful for our minds focus on abundance, prosperity, blessings, love, and goodness, instead of focusing on lack, worry, problems, stress, loneliness, fear, and emptiness.

WE GET MORE OF WHAT WE FOCUS ON.

WHAT WE FOCUS ON WE FEED.

ANYTHING that no longer receives our focus and attention becomes malnourished, then withers and dies.

WE ATTRACT MORE OF WHAT WE FOCUS ON.  We constantly emanate, emit, and project an energy that coincides with the way we feel, and we feel the way we think.

OUR LIFE IS A REFLECTION OF OUR CONSCIOUSNESS. We get what we ARE, and we see things the way that we ARE.

Ralph Waldo Emerson once stated:

PEOPLE DO NOT SEEM TO REALIZE THAT THEIR OPINION OF THE WORLD IS ALSO A CONFESSION OF CHARACTER

The reset button is pushed each morning when we wake up.  We have the choice to push it at ANY moment-in the ever-present, eternal moment of NOW.

We have the opportunity to replace pessimism with optimism, darkness, with light, anger and hatred with acceptance and love, and negativity with positivity, NOW.  If we choose to practice gratitude at the beginning of each day, it jump-starts our mind, primes our brains to focus on abundance, starts the process of exponential momentum in an intentional trajectory, and set us up for success.  Miracles happen all the time, and the more we practice gratitude and train our minds to focus on the “right” things, we will notice and recognize them so much more often.

We can literally choose to practice gratitude 24/7.

Every MOMENT is an opportunity to

BEGIN AGAIN

When gratitude is habituated, life becomes more amazing than ever, as we constantly realize all we have to be grateful for.

WE PROJECT our realities from our subconscious self identity and what we choose to focus on most.  What better things to project into our reality than even MORE of what we are most grateful for?!

Try this experiment for only one month:  Set an alarm to go off daily that simply asks, “WHAT DO I WANT MORE OF TODAY?  Re-focus.  Re-commit.”

While it is important to know exactly what we want and to go for it, by constantly focusing on what we have and what we are grateful for, we attract more things to be grateful for.  Focusing on what we are grateful for will attract what we want into our lives much more quickly than when focusing on lack, worry, problems, stress, loneliness, and emptiness.  The way we habitually FEEL is what calls into our realm the creations of our minds and empowers ALL things to manifest more quickly into existence within the physical plane.  Our feelings aren’t just an indicator of our focus.  Our feelings are a tool of manifestation.

Gratitude keeps things in perspective.

We are exactly where we are today, and we are exactly who we are today, because that is what we have consistently chosen to contribute to with our focus and energy.

GRATITUDE IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO UPGRADE.  GRATITUDE IS A TOOL.

Reminder to self:

Life is short.  Be grateful.

What will you choose to focus on today?

The choice is yours, and yours alone.

Today’s challenge to myself:  Today, and every day, I will start my day by thinking about, and focusing on, all that I have to be grateful for.

The beautiful thing thinking and focusing on the same or similar thoughts does is that it LITERALLY REWIRES THE BRAIN.  Check out Dr. Joe Dispenza’s Ted talk!

Remember:  Mindset matters.  Character counts.  That which we choose to consistently focus on is what EXPANDS in our lives.  WE CREATE our personal realities.
