Please share this challenge with others and invite them to join our incredible and creative community.  This challenge is beneficial for EVERYONE.  This challenge can be started ANY day of the year!  There will be a MONTHLY PRIZE for the top participant of each month’s challenge.  The winner will receive a goodinthehead t-shirt, stickers, the goodinthehead UPGRADING CONSCIOUSNESS card game, and the first goodinthehead online class, HEALING THE SELF.  This prize with all of these goodinthehead materials are valued at over $110. Simply take a picture of your filled out checklist with your favorite quote of the day, and share it on that day’s AWARENESS/ACCOUNTABILITY DAILY CHECK-IN post. We will ALL be the judge of who the most creative and consistent monthly winner is.

T-Shirt Care: Wash inside-out, and HANG DRY. It will last A LOT LONGER.

Stickers: Peel off the back part (paper) then apply to a clean, dry, INCREDIBLY SMOOTH surface. SLOWLY peel off the clear part on top of the lettering, then put a piece of paper over the letters and scrape over them with something hard and smooth to make sure it REALLY STICKS.

Our lives are 100% OUR responsibility.  The whole idea behind the goodinthehead movement is to offer EVERYONE the opportunity to share tools, tips, tricks, and life-hacks that THEY have learned with OTHERS, on how we can OWN OUR POWER AND ACCESS IT MORE FULLY, resulting in an automatic upgrade in our personal life experiences and the level of enjoyment we have.

THIS year, during 2021, I am issuing a daily challenge that I hope will empower ALL of us to create the most beautiful, meaningful, fulfilling, optimal life experience possible.  “TO KNOW, AND NOT TO DO, IS NOT TO KNOW.”  2021 is the year to DO.  This is a year of ACTION.

ALL THE KNOWLEDGE IN THE WORLD IS COMPLETELY USELESS UNLESS WE DO SOMETHING WITH IT.

ALL YOU WILL NEED is a notebook or journal and a pen.  Doing this together will offer an opportunity for group accountability that may be just the motivating factor we need! At the end of each day, we will be tracking our personal progress with a checklist.  It is a simple task, and will only take a few minutes.  Completed daily, this consistent practice will quickly and easily become a habit of CONSISTENCY that will serve us for the entire rest of our lives, creating more self-confidence, self-appreciation, and a growing level of pride in who we have become. To consistently build credibility with oneself through consistent action, follow-through, and cultivating the art of doing what we say we will do-NO MATTER WHAT, are incredibly useful tools.  These are the tools of a CREATOR.

All the knowledge in the world is USELESS without consistent ACTION.
EMPOWERING ACTION IS THE ANTIDOTE to a disempowering life.

This is the daily SELF-AWARENESS checklist to be filled out before sleeping, every night, for the month of January. These items can EASILY and QUICKLY be completed at ANY time of the day that’s most convenient for YOU, then checked off your list at the close of each day.

-Read the daily goodinthehead message (Found at www.goodinthehead.com under MY DAILY PERSPECIVE SHIFT, or on Facebook or Instagram under the name, goodinthehead.)

-Share the daily goodinthehead message (Either on social media, text, or just talking about it with someone at some point throughout the day.)

-Gratitude Practice (Think of and/or write down just three things you are most grateful for today.)

-Favorite Quote of the Day (Save a quote in a folder on your computer or phone, or write one down in your notebook or journal.  Quotes are an easy way to reprogram our minds in ways we WANT to be programmed in, and repetition is the key to mastery.  As we upgrade our beliefs with new and inspiring quotes and ideas, we upgrade our LIVES.)

-Exercise (ANYTHING is better than nothing.  10 push-ups, a set of planks, a walk, a bike ride, 10 body-weight squats-ANY exercise counts!)

-Carbohydrate intake (Simply add up the carbohydrates you eat and drink throughout the day.)

-Self-Appreciation (Towards the end of the day, it is helpful to set an alarm or a reminder to take a minute and reflect on the day, coming up with a short mental list of what you said or did that you are proud of, and why you appreciate yourself.)

-Breathing (Box breathing, Wim Hof breathing, or any other technique, practiced at ANY point in the day.)

-Complimented Someone (A kind text, an encouraging email, or a compliment in passing, will enhance the enjoyment of another’s day, and the positive energy will quickly spread.)

-My Bad Habit (One personal thing you want to change or get better at, or replace it with entirely.  For example, if you want to stop drinking soda, this entry will be: Soda – yes or no, each day.)

-My Affirmations (A list of your OWN affirmations to be read just before bed, allowing the subconscious to go to work on them.  This list is personal, and simply needs to be comprised of self-descriptive, empowering, positive words that describe the version of you that you wish to expand into.  Start your affirmations list with, “I AM:” and add as many words to this list as you like, at any time you like.)

Doing just ONE of these things on the daily checklist, each and every day is a win.  Doing more than one of these things each day is an even BIGGER win.  Albert Einstein taught that COMPOUNDING INTEREST IS THE EIGHTH WONDER OF THE WORLD.  He wasn’t just talking about money.  CONSISTENCY COMPOUNDS.  Our seemingly small successes will add up, compound, grow exponentially, and become MASSIVE, PERSONAL GROWTH AND SUCCESS.

I look forward to enjoying all of the wonderful things that each of you creates!  I can’t wait to give away the monthly prize to the most consistent, creative participants!  I have learned SO MUCH from the people in this community, and feel like I have been helped and empowered much more than the help and empowerment I have tried to give away.  I am so excited to see what we can do together in this next year, and I am looking forward to reading and listening to stories of personal growth that will come to those who choose to commit to this challenge.

After constructing this challenge, I came across a helpful book called, THE 7 DAY ENERGY SURGE.  Within the book is this quiz, which I invite you to take, then share your CURRENT score, in preparation for the upcoming challenge.  At the first of each month, participants will take the quiz and record their score, and compare their current score to the previous month.  Progress equals happiness and results in added momentum and motivation.  As we track our days, weeks, and months, you, too, will see just how empowering this challenge is!
