January 2: Kindness

Kindness makes a difference in everyone’s life.
In high school, I realized not everyone had a great life.  A lot of the kids were going through horrible things at home, getting bullied, living through drama, and having a rough time.  I made it a point to say hello to, and smile at, as many people as I could every day.  It was like a game.  I loved seeing a smile spread across someone’s face when I surprised them with a greeting or a smile in the hallway or in class.  It didn’t just make them feel better.  It made me feel better as well.

Sometimes, we aren’t able to create and control our environments, BUT MOST OF THE TIME WE ARE.

Today’s challenge for myself:  Today I will commit random acts of kindness every chance I get.  Every day, I will strive to be the best version of myself I can possibly be.

goodinthehead is also on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.  Follow me there, as well, for daily messages, inspiration, motivation, and reminders.  Please pay it forward, and share this, and ANY message, which may empower someone you love or may care about.  It is through adding value to others by sharing and spreading wisdom, that we become more valuable as individuals, and collectively, as a whole, we all become wiser.

Remember:  Mindset matters.  Character counts.  That which we choose to consistently focus on is what EXPANDS in our lives.  WE CREATE our realities.

  1. I saw you have made changes for the New Year 2022. I love the challenge that you set.
Yes, we are all in the change together to make this earth a better place for everyone. I hope I can make it here to see the daily challenges. Last 2 years had been a rough ride with the tough events happening in my life.
Now I am in the journey to slowly rediscover myself. To fully step into my new self I won’t say is easy.
I hope this year I am better at managing emotion aspects and create a new identity for who I want to be.
I am honoured to have you as my friend in encouragement and inspire me to step out of my comfort zone. At times I asked myself what am I doing? My future seems exciting but I miss my old life. Transition is probably the hardest part and it seems like forever. There are so many aspects in my life I need to make changes. Automatically I just can’t stop my tears at time with a sudden appearance of the story from my past.
Thank you so much for setting up this empowerment blog.
I am going to make it a point check in here on a daily basis.
I’ll start small steps giving myself that 30 day challenges.
I know ahead of me, my path is going to be busy as I have to start to promote my book. Will see how the path leads me 😉

    1. AWESOME. What a generous note. Thank you. I am the lucky one-I have learned so much from you. Keep doing what you are doing. 🔥😊🙌
