May 3: Humility

While being, “Self-Made” is important, and always doing our very best to upgrade every aspect of our human experiences every chance we get, even more important is the realization that others will motivate, inspire, teach, and help us all along the way.  It is empowering to work like everything depends upon us and us alone.  Even more important, is to have the humility to acknowledge the role of others in ALL our successes, all along the way.

Our family members, our friends, strangers on the street, and even our enemies, will say and do things at just the right moment which will teach us, push us, pull us, remind us, and help us with everything we need, at just the right moment.  Having seen this happen in my own life, many times, has cemented the belief in my mind that, The Universe was designed from the beginning to conspire on our behalf, every moment, of every day.

There is purpose in all things.  It will be easy to see that this is true years from now, but for now, we can just know that everything is working for us, not against us, even if it seems that way.  Good will come from everything that happens to us, until we realize that things have been happening for us, all along.

Today’s challenge for myself:  I will remember to be humble and grateful for all things and all of the people in my life, and remember it is all unfolding for my greater good.

Remember:  Mindset matters.  Character counts.  That which we choose to consistently focus on is what EXPANDS in our lives.  WE CREATE our personal realities.
