Month 1 – The Power of Self Identity, Self-Love, Self-Appreciation, and Self-Acceptance.

Month 1

THE COMMITMENT TO IMPROVING AND UPGRADING MY Power in the areas of Self Identity, Self-Love, Self-Appreciation, and Self-Acceptance:

To start, set an alarm on your phone, right now, to go off every day at the time most convenient for you, to remind yourself and repeat to yourself this important message, PREFERABLE into a mirror, out loud:

NO JUDGEMENT, NO CRITICISM.  I LOVE YOU EXACTLY AS YOU ARE.  YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING DIFFERENTLY TO BE WORTHY OF LOVE.  YOUR BEST IS GOOD ENOUGH, AND AS YOU CONSISTENTLY DO YOUR BEST, YOUR BEST WILL CONSISTENTLY GET BETTER.  THERE IS NOTHING YOU COULD THINK, SAY, DO OR BE THAT WOULD MAKE ME LOVE YOU ANY LESS.  YOU ARE PERFECT JUST AS YOU ARE, AND IF YOU CHOOSE TO, YOU CAN GET EVEN BETTER.

In order to create the BEST POSSIBLE personal reality that we can, WE MUST COMMIT to it, then continuously RE-COMMIT to it.  With REPETITION, ANYTHING gets easier.  The thing that makes difficult things easy is knowing our personal, BIG REASONS WHY.  There will be MANY opportunities to answer questions throughout this personal, progressive journey.  CLARITY comes from honestly answering questions that empower us to become more SELF AWARE.  When we are even MORE self-aware, we are more capable of BETTER, PERSONAL CREATIONS.  I believe that each of us CREATES OUR OWN personal reality.  This is an EXTREMELY empowering belief, for me.  It places ME in charge of my thoughts, my words, my actions, how I choose to respond and interact with EVERYTHING, and it removes me as a victim to circumstances.  When WE choose what to think, rather than continuing to allow OTHERS to dictate what or how we think about ANYTHING, we break free from the trap of conformity, and we begin to be CREATORS. 

One of the daily to-do items is 10 minutes of silence.  This can be used in prayer, meditation, sitting outside in nature and observing, or using a meditation app.  After only one year of giving yourself just 10 minutes a day, you may come to realize that this is your favorite part of the entire workbook.  It has been taught that we ALL should meditate for 20 minutes a day, and if we think we don’t have the time, that we should make the time to meditate for an hour.  10 minutes is a great place to start, it is INCREDIBLY easy to do, and a HIGHLY utilized practice for most high performers.

Some of these questions may be asked again, later in the year, in order for you to recognize and notice how far you have come in your personal growth journey.  When we recognize and appreciate OURSELVES along the way, soon we no longer feel the need to seek validation, recognition, and appreciation from OTHERS.

Before you begin completing the daily tasks, take the time to answer these questions.  Be as detailed and honest as you can.  Be as detailed as possible.  I highly recommend you buy a companion/composition notebook ASAP to write in as you follow along in this DAILY Manifestors Guide to Self-Recreation.  If you prefer to keep track of your progress and your work electronically, using a phone or computer is also useful, but WRITING THINGS DOWN affords us extra thinking and processing time as we write, and is the preferred method by most highly successful individuals.  What we TRACK AND WRITE DOWN is how we observe the continual improvements and progression.  Make a space within this book for a wish list for books, products, podcasts, sources of inspiration, and ANYTHING possible that will empower you to upgrade your OWN self-image.

WHAT ARE THE THREE BIGGEST REASONS I WISH TO PURSUE A LIFESTYLE OF PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND OPTIMIZATION?

IF EVERYTHING WERE GOING PERFECTLY FOR ME, WHAT EXACTLY WOULD THAT LOOK LIKE?  WHAT WOULD NEED TO HAPPEN FOR ME IN ORDER FOR ME TO BE LIVING THE LIFE OF MY DREAMS?  WHAT EXACTLY DOES MY DREAM LIFE LOOK LIKE?  IF I WERE TO CLOSE MY EYES RIGHT NOW, AND ENVISION ALREADY HAVING EVERYTHING I WANT IN LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT LOOK LIKE, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, HOW EXACTLY WOULD I FEEL?  Having a detailed vision of SELF that we continuously revisit DAILY and have a strong desire to expand into enhances the likelihood of it becoming a reality.

HOW DO I CURRENTLY SEE MYSELF?  HOW DO I CURRENTLY SELF-IDENTIFY?  WHAT WORDS BEST DESCRIBE HOW I HONESTLY FEEL ABOUT MYSELF? 

HOW DO I THINK OTHERS SEE ME?  WHICH WORDS WOULD BEST DESCRIBE HOW I BELIEVE OTHERS SEE ME?

WHAT ARE ALL OF THE MOST EMPOWERING WORDS, THOUGHTS, AND BELIEFS THAT I WANT TO DESCRIBE ME?  Make a LIST, and begin each sentence with, I AM.  For example, the list may have sentences like, I AM HEALING.  I AM SOMEONE WHO ALWAYS DOES THE BEST I CAN.  This list of words will become a list that you review often, preferably DAILY, as repetition reprograms the subconscious mind.  This is a list you will want to keep handy, and leave PLENTY of room for additions, so it can be added to and improved ANY TIME you want.

Beginning the daily tasks in this planner will seem slow, at first.  This is intentionally, to be certain that a CONSISTENT commitment and CONSISTENT personal effort will become a habit.  Slow, methodical, intentional practices, completed over time, quickly and easily become empowering habits that result in a life WELL-LIVED.  When we stack small things CONSISTENTLY, we build MASSIVE results.

Be as detailed as you can in your responses.  Re-visit the answers to the questions above as often as you need or want to, in order to remind yourself of WHERE YOU WANT TO GET TO.  Discipline and self-control are HABITS, and within the next year, through doing the DAILY work this planner introduces, discipline and self-control will become as natural and easy as breathing and eating.

One of the most empowering tools I have used over the years in my YouTube Red account.  I started out with an individual account for around $12/month, then later upgraded to a Family Account and gave a membership to my wife and a few of our children.  They all LOVE it.  I listen to content DAILY at work, while driving, around the house, and on walks, hikes, and while at the gym.  YouTube has the audio version of MANY of the books suggested within this workbook, and the podcasts and information contained within the world of YouTube consists of wisdom and experience from THOUSANDS of successful people who turned into content-providers to contribute to the greater good of the collective whole.  It is no longer necessary to buy tons of books or materials or go to weekly seminars or classes.  All of these things can now be purchases with the inexpensive and HIGHLY valuable membership on YouTube Red.  YouTube is FREE if you don’t want to purchase anything at all, but it works well for me because I can download the content onto my mobile device while using Wi-Fi and don’t have to use minutes while streaming.

I highly recommend trying it out!  Of course, researching through tools like Google, the library, and the Internet are also tools I use and recommend, but when it comes to listening to content like books and podcasts, YouTube has been INCREDIBLY beneficial and useful to me.

Congratulations on completing the first 30 days of the workbook!  It isn’t easy, at first, but as momentum is gained, it gets progressively easier and more fun.

SELF IMAGE is the most important tool we each have, as individuals.  As we seek out the ways to up-level our self-image, every other area of our lives upgrade, right along with our self-image.  Wayne Dyer taught, “When we change the way we see things, the things we see CHANGE.”  This is ESPECIALLY true with US.  As we see ourselves differently, everything we see will be different, in accordance with our upgraded perspectives, perceptions, and beliefs.  Life can’t help but get more beautiful AS WE DO.  All of the good things in life can’t help but be attracted to us, as WE become progressively more attractive.
